Fruits are a golden treasure of tasty benefits for healthy living. These fruits are full of vitamins and fiber, and in particular, are low in fat and calories.
Eating papaya is like "having your cake and eat it too." Papaya is a tropical fruit that has a soft buttery consistency when ripe. Healthy eating ripe papaya as you would a melon, cut lengthwise, collect seeds, after eating with a spoon. Just half a papaya contains twice the RDI of the needs that we need vitamin C and is rich in beta carotene.
Nectarines are ready to eat when you have a deep golden yellow with a large amount of red skin on it. Nectarines should be slightly soft in the seam. This little gem, when mature, have a sweet aroma. These treasures can be eaten with the skin and has a zingy, fresh taste. Nectarine can be chopped and added to the salad, served with meat or eaten on its own. Nectarines bond is healthy fiber and vitamin C. A favorite fruit because of its portability, nectarines can be used as a healthy snack several times a day.
Melon is known for its refreshing flavor, texture and juiciness. This is a melon that has a scent of earth. Melons should be picked up by the weight of its size, and there should be no soft spots in it. Note: Melons should be washed on the outside of a fruit and vegetable washer to thoroughly clean the outside before cutting up, as they can carry the bacteria in them. Once cleaned, seeds and spoon half of the fruit. Healthy melons are great with any meal and can be cut into balls with a melon scoop, or cut in half and sliced into neat pieces, or outside the skin and cut into small squares only. Puree melon and can be made into a summer drink by adding soda water topped with mint. Melon has many health benefits, vitamin A, vitamin C and potassium, plus fiber content is high.
Oranges are a favorite for almost everyone. This little treasure comes in many varieties of mandarins, the Chinese and, of course, naval oranges, full of intense flavor tasty citrus. Nothing is more refreshing and healthy to eat an orange, or having a glass of orange juice in the morning, which is like a bit of "heaven."
Orange juice is used in many alcoholic beverages such as vodka and orange, champagne and orange juice, often for brunch. Healthy recipes using orange, rind flavor puts joy in muffins, breads, cookies, blender drinks and a lot of baking dish, such as recipes for chicken, and salads.
